Are you a lover for all things music festivals? Would you jump at the chance to buy cheap concert or festival tickets online? If the answer is yes, ensure that you are careful and avoid being dragged into an online ticket scam when purchasing festival tickets. Ticket fraud is a global internet issue and continues to grow as music festivals become more and more popular. Major events such as large music festivals are a prime example of how online scammers make their money. The same goes for Concert tickets and Sports event tickets which are available online.

Imagine missing out on your favourite music festival this year because you’ve bought your tickets through a dodgy website. It’s not fair that you should miss out while someone else gets to cash in.What you have to be careful with is the way scammers lie about having early-bird or pre-sale tickets to sell. Tickets for some of the year’s later festivals aren’t yet on sale, though dozens of unauthorised websites claim to have tickets available for purchase.

The organisers of these multi-million dollar music festivals are worried that, yet again, fans will pay a large amount of money for tickets they never receive.

Ticket fraud expert Reg Walker says the key to buying safely is checking out a site before clicking on the ‘buy’ button. Every year, an astonishing 30,000 people book festival tickets from a website that’s a con. Do not let it happen to you.
